Starlink Campaign Can Be Done With Just Fox And Arwing
Nintendo showed a more in-depth look today for the game Starlink, which so happens to feature Fox McCloud from Star Fox. The Ubisoft team stated that the entire story campaign of the game can be played through with just Fox and his Arwing – which is good news for those who do not wish to purchase all the extra ship customization’s for the game. Nintendo Switch owners who purchase Starlink will have Fox and his Arwing included. The Ubisoft team also confirmed that there will be exclusive Star Fox missions for Nintendo Switch owners who purchase the game.
The Ubisoft team was quick to mention how honored they were to feature Fox McCloud and his Arwing in Starlink: Battle for Atlas. They worked hard on keeping the Arwing as close to its original self as possible, you can even do a barrel roll! Starlink features physical toy parts which can be used to customize your ships in-game, which leaves the Arwing fully customizable, if you wish to that is. You can stack weapons (can have one weapon facing forwards and one backwards) change wings and the core body – you have to be careful though, the more you add, the heavier your ship gets, which makes it slower and in some cases harder to control.
Starlink: Battle of Atlas launches October 16th with an exclusive starter pack for Nintendo Switch owners.
Starlink looks to be a promising game, a vast open world with fully customizable ships. It is good to hear that players are not going to be forced to purchase extra ship parts in order to beat the game. I personally am not a fan of the physical toy parts as an addition to the game, but I am also not against it. Luckily once you register the toy part in game you will not need to have it attached to your controller anymore as the parts get registered in-game and can be changed in the menu during game play.
