Nintendo Released New Info on Nintendo Labo
Nintendo has Released 3 new videos about Nintendo Labo, giving a much more in-depth view on the software and what it has to offer, Nintendo Labo is an interactive experience of build and play using specially cut/printed cardboard and software, which will be released April 20th.
Nintendo Labo – Toy-Con 01: Variety Kit
This video shows off all the amazing features packed into the Nintendo Labo – Toy-Con 01: Variety kit, such as creating and recording your own songs using the Toy-Con Piano, you can even experiment and create your own sounds and pitches and after words conduct your song using the Joy-Con.
The Toy-Con RC Car is full of unique and surprising feature, the Kit comes with enough material to make two Toy-Con-RC Cars, which you can use to battle against friends, by trying to knock each other’s cars over, race against each other, you can even add obstacles to make it more challenging, you do however need 2 sets of Joy-Cons, two lefts and two right Joy-Cons in order to us both RC Cars. One of the most intriguing features is how the right Joy-Con has a Built in IR Motion Camera, which you can use to see in the dark, you can control Your RC Cars with no lights on, by seeing through the camera on your Nintendo Switch screen and controlling the RC Car.

Nintendo labo – Toy-Con 02: Robot Kit
In This Video for the Nintendo Labo – Toy-Con 02: Robot Kit, Nintendo walks you through how the robot kit becomes a body size controller, where different poses create specific actions in the game, such as flying and driving around like a tank, destroying everything in your patch, whether it is buildings, cars or space ships. You can even face off and battle a friend if you have two Robot Kits. Other features that were shown, include the ability to level up and customize your robot, there is also a robo studio mode, which lets you use the Nintendo Switch as a sound maker, by putting the switch inside the Toy-Con Robot and moving around to make different sounds.

I particularly find the Toy-Con 01: Variety Kit the most interesting of the two, it has a lot of unique features and is very customizable, allowing a lot of freedom to make your own creations, you can create your own race tracks for the Motor Bike racing, create and record your own music with the piano, create your own fish for the fishing game, tons of cute fun with the house and there is just so much you can do with the RC Car.
The Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 01: Variety Pack is packed full of creativeness, there is so much to explore, you can add your own twist to things, where the Robot Kit seems very one sided, not that it is a bad thing, it does look rather fun, it just doesn’t have as much to offer. I still question how well the cardboard will hold up, especially for the robot Kit.
What do you think about Nintendo labo? Which Kit are you most excited about?
