Nintendo Has Applied For GameCube Trademarks
Nintendo has registered for 3 new GameCube related trademarks in Japan, which likely means that we will be getting a GameCube retro console in the following year to come. Nintendo also filed for N64 trademarks back in May of this year, so we are likely to see the N64 retro console first. Regardless of how long we may have to wait, this is exciting news for many.
As many already know, Nintendo has no plans on bringing back the virtual console, which allowed Nintendo console owners to play old classic games on their system, so your best chance of playing some older Nintendo games
may be from purchasing their Retro consoles, such as the NES Mini and Snes Mini available now and the N64/GameCube Consoles yet to come.
