How Nintendo Can Fix Super Mario Odyssey Balloon World
It comes at no surprise, so I think we all knew this was going to happen with Super Mario Odyssey Balloon World eventually. Some players have already started hiding balloons in places that cannot be reached, places that are prohibited and the only way to reach such balloons is to figure out how the player was able to break through the wall to place the balloon, something that will be difficult for many to figure out.
How can Nintendo even fix this issue?
1.The best option would be to change how the game mode works, perhaps by having players race to randomly placed balloons. For example: I join [balloon race mode] – for Metro Kingdom, I get matched with a player around my rank, the mode auto places a balloon somewhere in Metro Kingdom, I face off against the Player to reach the balloon first. Nintendo could even allow us to jump on and hit [named] opponent to try and slow them down. Who ever gets to the balloon first wins.
Personally, I think that would be the best way to fix this issue, there will always be players trying to find a way to break the system. Having players race each other to reach the balloon would be the better option and still fun. The balloons being randomly placed can help keep players guessing, instead of just memorizing where all the balloon locations are.
2.Nintendo can re-code the game mode, so the mode is cancelled anytime a person breaks into out of bound areas.
3.The game could be coded that the balloon is considered reached, if you get 2-5 M from it.
